The "MMMBop" singer married his wife Kate Hanson in 2006 and two years later, they welcomed their first child, Shepherd.

Despite the popularity of Zac's band Hanson, which he formed with his brothers in 1992, the drummer told PEOPLE that his children think of him as Dad first.
"My kids, they don't think of our career at all," he said in 2022.
"Some of my kids love music, and today, one of my daughters is singing at a little local festival, but she doesn't care at all that her dad sings. She's just like, 'I want to sing, so I'm going to go sing.' "
