Drafted by the NFL's San Diego Chargers in 2001, Brees earned the first of numerous Pro Bowl selections in 2004, before moving on to the New Orleans Saints in 2006. He led the Saints to victory in Super Bowl XLIV in 2009, and went on to shatter league records for completions, passing yards and touchdowns.
